Re: Oil pump change
In a earlier topic you asked about putting a Fuel injection head on a carb block. Did you go ahead with it?
If after removing the headbolt and spinning the pump with a drill and theres still no oil reaching the head it will be best to remove the head.
Keep us posted on the outcome

Re: Oil pump change
Yes i have posted about changing to fi. But rather left it as i focused on the body instead. I spinned the pump both ways with 2 seperate pumps. i could hear compression coming out the oil switch but no oil. So yea ima remove the head instead, spin the pump and see if its atleast coming through the block. If all is good ill strip the head and use a compressor to hopefully get it sorted.
Could i use petrol to help with flushing the blockage out?

Re: Oil pump change
So i found the issue. Took off the head a few min ago. Father sprayed copper spray on the gasket which caused all this f ups. Soon as i took the head off the oil hole was completly closed. Took a wire had to struggle to remove it. So 2m ill turn the pump and test if it will flow out

Re: Oil pump change
Im hoping that it will. Ill first clear the heads ports put the old gasket on and turn the pump just to make sure oil is getting before i change the gasket and torque the headbuggyfan wrote:Good luck. Hopefully this will solve your oil issue.

Re: Oil pump change
Finally got everything back together. Oil flow is perfect as it should be. I also noticed when i fitted the top gasket that my father placed it the incorrect way. Thanks everyone for the input. Buggy's method of spinning the oil pump was an awesome idea. Hope i dont have to do any of this again. My back is killing me
