Hi Guys

I just need some help, basically trying to help a friend

He has 2011 Charade 1.0L as a daily and has the following problems :

he was driving yesterday and the car overheated, basically had to pull over 5 times to allow the car to cool down and top up water. the fan kicked in but, abit later according to him

if you start the car it dies just within a few seconds after, if you accelerate it has a rough idle and no power.

he also mentioned that white smoke came out the exhaust and he can get a fuel smell.

He checked the oil cap and there is no water and oil mixing.


Any help will be appreciated

Headgasket blown between the cylinder and water jacket most likely.

My sister had one, same issue happened. Head gasket decided to go on strike.
