Polo in distress

Post by Eej01 »

Hey guys!

I’m new to the club but have had vws most of my life I’ve had this 1.6 BAH for the past 7 years and has been thee most reliable car I’ve ever owned. Until the other night to to work I had not checked the oil and the oil light came on and started making a ticking sound. I threw more oil in and it’s still ticking. I then towed the car home to be safe . Anyone with any possible solution as to what can be the issue ???😩😩

First thing to CHECK is the oil level. Filling extra will do more bad than good.

If the engine is getting rowdy and the oil light on, then it's most likely low oil pressure. A number of things can cause it.
Worst case is u gonna need an overhaul.

When a car tailgates me, i slow down - then floor it and give them a cloud of diesel smoke to choke on :driving:
