Hi Gents
Today I heard a strange sound on my clutch. As I engaged the pedal to hit reverse the box made a loud noice, much to the effect of the gear grinding to get into reverse but it went into reverse.
I paused the music, and engaged the clutch again and could distinctively hear a light spring sound. The clutch feels normal and soft as always, but this sound is new.
All gears engage normally, just has this spring sound on the pedal.
My question is, could it be that just my clutch fluid needs to be replaced or could the clutch itself be an issue. Car is sitting on 54450KM and I am the second owner.
Please assist.

Fluid will not cause that.
Most likely the pressure plate.
