VR6 MK3 golf/MK4 jetta project

Post by Wellyboy »

Hi guys, need a little assistance, I'v got a 94 MK3 golf, I'm replaced to the gearbox with MK4 jetta gearbox, I'm not entirely sure what Size clutch fittings I need I know the hose is -4 (tephlon steel braided) MK3 end is screw on and the mk4 end is clip. Also I require a blanking plate as the jetta box is AWD, been looking all over and struggling to find one.

Please note I'm south african but currently living in Australia.

why not just buy the pipe for the mk4 and fit it back to the mk3. It's kind of hard without pictures.

I'll post pics tomorrow. I could do that, but I'm upgrading all the pipe work in the motor because later on on I'm putting in a stage 2+ clutch and going to turbo. Also tephlon hoses are cheap here and widely used.

Well then you need to take samples of what you need to a hydraulic shop and let them make it up for you.

Yeah nice pics. Don't really show the pipe detail you are struggling with though.
