Golf 4 1.6 sr power loss and ruff idle

Hi. I have a golf 4 1.6 sr 5dr
I've been having problems where it becomes powerless for 1min and the car will be fine after.
The next morning. I start the car and it has a ruff idle and there is no power at all

Plz can you help me

Have you had someone scan the car for fault codes? I would start there and see what comes up but suggest reading the fault codes, clearing them all and then driving the car for a few days before reading the fault codes again.
