Good day i have a golf 3 1.8i i currently lose power between 2000rpm and 3000rpm some seem to say fuel pump and others say throttle position sensor i would like to know has anyone had the same problem and what could it be because i do not want to spend unnecessary money on parts that didnt need changing.
At the moment after 3000rpm it runs to full power but at low revs it gurgles with a bit of [fish bite] between 2000rpm and 3000rpm its become very frustrating changing plugs distributer and rotor with no success i really need someone who would put me in the right direction

Install a fuel pressure gauge in the supply line. If the pressure stays constant then you don't have a fule supply problem.
