Finding 2L 8v ABA
How scarce are the ABA engines? Anyone know a supplier who usually has stock?

It's either the ABA or APK that has the silly rocker style cams, make sure you get the one with the head you're after.

I don't think either of those have rocker cams. ABA OBDI and OBDII certainly don't. Have looked through a AQY/APK technical doc before and didn't see a rocker mentioned.
Only ABA I can find looks to be ODBII so it'll most likely have single valve springs, no spring seats (!!?) and cast crank (debatable whether a forged one is any benefit on a sub-100KW motor such as the ABA, except of course the weight of the thing).
Speaking of heads, anyone know how much different ports and valves would be on the APK/AQY mk4 heads compared to a Mexico or "Germany" ABA head? I looked last night and seems the Mexico ABA head leaves a bit to be desired.
