Hi guys I really need your help. I went on a small road trip for work but when returning the car started to "shudder" and it sounded like the timing was off or something.. I stopped and when I turned it of and started it again she was fine normal idling and normal driving.. but it started again now and sometimes if n put the foot down and it gets past 2000rpm you can feel it boosts and feels normal again.. but when thr rpms drops it "shudders" again. What should I look at that could be the problem.. ???????

What's the mileage on the car? Have you had the car scanned as yet?

278*** km.. No not yet wil have to take her to be scanned.. The services are up to date.. she has a straight pipe on and egr delete has been done .. but all of that has been done a year ago with no problems ... No lack of power and almost 1.4 bar of boost in first gear... So dont think it can be the mods because she was fine after the mods but started now with this ..

I suggest having the car scanned and taking it from there. But a common fault with the symptoms that you describe is a faulty injector loom. It has like a stutter or miss. However, there could be a few other issues with the same symptoms. Let us know what errors pop up and I would suggest that injector values are checked.

Clogged diesel filter might be the problem.

I had the same symptoms on my polo. In my case the dual mass flywheel was gone.
