Hi all.
My 2006 1.9tdi Touran is making a Air noice when accelerating in each gear.
Could it be the Turbo or a Air leak.
NO black smoke from Turbo.

Re: Touran Air sound
Probably a slight loss of power? Most likely a boost leak.
I have noticed on oem boostpipes, that if the pipe pops out enough to get the seal out of its position - u will have the air noise and a slight loss of power that most people (if u dont know ur car well) wont be able to feel. If so, what i think is - its not a big enough leak for the map sensor to read thats something wrong, and throw a dtc.
Long story short, check boostpipes for leaks (u should have some oil leaking wherever the leak is)

When a car tailgates me, i slow down - then floor it and give them a cloud of diesel smoke to choke on

Re: Touran Air sound
My first guess would have been a boost leak somewhere if this is a new sounds but you should have noticed a dip in performance and potentially even a CEL.
