Hey guys.
I'm kinda new to the forum and is in need of loads of help.
I am not a mechanic and also not an engineer. I am just a guy in need of help/info.
My car dropped a valve for the second time in less than 8 months. It is my daily, and I sometimes drive it hard.
I was told that the valve drop happens due to oil starving or using the wrong type of oil. I went from 40w/50 to 25w/50 than 20w/50.
Any suggestions negativity are welcomed.
Thanks in advance.

20W/50 is the recommended oil for your car.
I am surprised to hear about an 8V motor dropping valves, its not a very common failure, to my knowledge.

Re: What oil to use
As missioner said, 20w50 is correct. Was any previous work done to the head? When you say hard, how hard are we talking? What do you rev the car too?

Re: What oil to use
Thanks guys.
No work was done to the head, every thing is still for now. I hardly over rev it, I would say I over rev it 2/10 times. Velves droped on me twice, botj times at high revs, while driving fast, 140+ . I can upload pics on how the piston looked after once i figure out how to do it .
When I say driving it hard, I actualy mean driving fast, short speed burst, burnouts...etc. No over reving
