Suzuki Jimny + Suzuki Jimny - Klean Garage

Post by Le Clue »

Hey guys,

These Jimnys came to us for a new car paint correction and protection detail. The owners instructed the dealers that the car not be washed and all the protective film was also left on.

Being imported from Japan they spent quite some time in various modes of transport and stored outside in the elements. If you think a new car does not require some professional detailing in the form of paint correction you are in for a shock!

We start of with safely removing all the film and it is then followed by a pre-wash foam that is left to dwell to help loosen all the dirt and grime.

Following the wash process we apply IronX and TarX to remove all the contamination and the glue residue safely. The tires also got a nice scrubbing with Gyeon Tire Cleaner, even though they are new they are actually very dirty.

Then it's time for paint correction where the major problem was all the water spots that were present on the paint work that was not covered with protective film.

Weapons of choice were Rupes Uno Pure with a Rupes D-A yellow pad:

Both vehicles were coated with CarPro CQ.UK 3.0 ceramic coating and topped with CarPro Reload - making them easy to clean when off roading! Look at the last pic comparing the coated and non coated vehicle after some 4x4ing:
