PDR- Paintless dent removal

Post by SHAUN »

Hi Fellow detailers

Looking for some feedback from you guys,

How many of you use the service of a PDR Technician? Would you say there is a market for it to doing the course and setting up a mobile PDR business from Scratch catering for car clubs and detailers working from home etc?

There definitely is a market, I for one would be ampt in striking a deal to use a forum member as a pdr technician and use it as one of the services i offer, cause i dont have the capital to go for a course as yet, but i myself want to do it

I made use of a pdr tech a couple of times.... cheaper and takes the stress of worrying about colour matching after panel beating...

There is a massive market I believe...

Been talking to a few guys that do it. Minimal equipment is needed and when it gets quiet over here they pack up and go to the USA for a few months and work in their stormy season.

I have been contemplating the idea for more than a year now, and I honestly never thought doing a proper course costs to much.

Then if you look at buying proper tools, not the cheapish chinese **** easily 60k+ just for that.

YEA But i think n a larger scale, it pays the money back, i also wanna do the proper course, i was inspired by a guy i know, he now went abroad to continue his business ther, cause of the demand, so for me it would be detailing plus dent removal
