T-shirts for Dbn VW club guys

Post by rhythm07 »

hi guys :hi:

i was reading the dubrun thread yday and they mentioned t-shirts at R180 a pop which is quite expensive also considering there is so many of them. So then a light bulb lit up so thought why don't we make our own which we can wear for meet ups and events or sleeping whatever tickles your fancy.

Anyways i think i can get good quality t-shirts with printing at a much better price maybe you can even get 2 or 3 for the R180 the jhb guys are pay.

So what do you guys think?

i'll get a more or loss acurate price tonight. So if the guys are keen maybe your'll can appoint a commitee member to collect cash then make the payment once the t-shirts are delievered.

Oh i'll also need a design.

You can say if your keen or not and i'll start a list on the thread.

Cheers

Revin :moon:

price will get lower as we get more guys.

As i said earlier the jhb guys are paying R180 for 1 so i'm try to get ours for about half the price if not less. My dad is trying to get it for us at cost price.

This is what i require to tell you guys the exact amount.

How many gram t's?i think 160g is the best for dbn weather but if you want thick there is 200g but pls remember the thicker the t-shirt the more expensive

how many t-shirts? 50 t's will be cheaper than 10.

The design? What you guys want printed on it and whether you want printing on both sides or just one or something small on front n bigger on thr back. The design should have the colours wanted, 50colours will be more expensive than 2. So you guys can throw some ideas around and see what you come up with.

I was thinking something like the vwclub at the top of the screen, on the back

Durban
VW
club

and maybe the VW sign on the front

And we will have the design plate for future printing.

What do you guys think?

This is a great idea. Myself and Kiran chatted quite abit about shirts and I put a few things together, and got a few samples of the prints made up which did not look to bad. Also looked at the quality of shirt and personally found even the 180g shirts seemed to thin and personally would prefer like 200g or more then you know they should last.

Are any of the dbn guys involved in any graphic designs or something??

i have a mate of mine who is a graphic designer. I'm sure he can draw up something but we'll need to give him something to work with, and idea of what you guys want.

I just used others pics off the net, but didnt get them printed because I felt bad copying other people's hard work..

It was just shocker, I hate speedbumps, Oem Plush and the likes...

I like the idea for the rear of the shirt.

Maybe on the front something like:
Image
With something like Volkswagen Club | Dbn Edition

Or replace pic with whatever...

Just a quick question for the guys, why dont we use the same picture as the jhb guys, but then put a VW Club Kzn on the shirt somewhere??

Then again... I dont think they will just hand over their logo for us to make shirts when they do the same thing and can sell them to us...

I am definitely in for a t-shirt!!!!

As for designs, shocker, iheartspeedbumps etc like Shaun mentioned + the VW logo and maybe something to call ourselves...

Durban Dubbers
Durban VW Club

I am also just as happy with copying the JHB shirt and adding our own unique flava!

with regards to this i believe we should have our own design and the fact that we will have vw club our shirts will link us to the jhb guys. It's like we are together but not together, if you understand what i mean.

Hi guys,I am definately in for a shirt. What do you guys think of a golf shirt? Looks good, you can still print on them, and they are a bit thicker than t-shirts.
