85mk1 golf Sound install troubles(Interference)

Post by Huzi022 »

Hi Guys, need some help.

getting a high pitched noise from my tweeters and a lower pitched almost like a humm from my mids and 6x9's.

im running 2 amps only the 4 channel is doing it WITH OR WITHOUT RCA's plugged in. mono block works fine.

i have checked all earths they all read between 0.0-0.1 ohm, both amps are grounded at the same spot, tried grounding the deck here as well to no avail.
Ground cable length is shorter than 45cm

all my RCA's have been tested.
Power is run down the passenger side, RCA's and remote turn on down the drivers side.

the 4 channel amp has been swapped out so i know that it cant be the amp.
Main Ground on the car is perfect as well @0.0 ohm

i tried doing everything and still cant figure it out.
not keen on fitting a ground loop isolator as yet as i want to figure out the actual problem first

losing my mind here.
