Polo GT - audio upgrade

Post by @chef_kyle »

Good day,

Just bought a new Polo Vivo GT as the new run around vehicle.

Id love to get a decent system into this car.

Any advise on a reputable installer in Randburg JHB.

Any advise on what to put into the car?
Would it be cheaper to buy myself and pay for install or go straight there and get everything sorted by then.

Thanking you.

Depends what your budget is. You can spend R 10, 000.00 and get a decent sounding system, or you can spend R 50, 000.00 and get a badass system.
Again, depends on budget, also what kinda music you will primarily listen to, how loud do you want it, do prefer bass, or treble, or a decent mix of the two? What is your expected outcome? So many questions.

I don't know these companies, but going off of Goolge ratings:
Sound Specialist
23 Google reviews
Address: Malibongwe Dr, Ruiterhof, Randburg, 2194
Hours:
5:30PM ⋅ Opens 8:30AM
Phone: 011 787 6865

I would suggest to speak to them, give them your preferences, get a quote and go from there.
Also, look into adding sound deadening material to the doors and behind the rear seat side covers.
Will improve quality dramatically and eliminate a lot of road noise.

Installation makes all the difference. You can use top shelf equipment but if the install is poor,it will sound crap.

I suggest future audio in alberton.I have no idea how far away that is from you but Jason does excellent work and his prices aren't crazy.Check there page out on facebook.

Agreed on Future Sound Alberton. They did the install in my bakkie. SOOO clean, no wires visible, no rattling/squeaking panels and their price is really good.
