RNS510 booted up in German and NO Audio

Hi Guys,

My RNS510 restarted and language changed to German. There is no audio, nothing is working.
I tried changing the language back to English, this does not work.

I can view the maps though only.

HW-Version - H04
SW-Version - 3890

Browsing around shows a firmware upgrade can possibly resolve this but then re-installation of maps is required.

Has anyone experienced this and can advise where i can get the firmware and maps from the Gauteng area?

I'll need to check if I have the firmware floating about, but I can assist with the maps, although not the most recent version.

Sorry, can't find the disk.

Or try @Deranged_9n3, I know he updated his firmware recently.

Ryen helped me with firmware update. Unsure of forum name but he is on here. And then thanx to Belix I got a maps dvd

Thanks Guys, I managed to download and finally get the firmware update to work. Maps are still there so need for this. If anyone needs the firmware, give me a shout.

Sorry, seems there was one later update, but this version works fine - just the zooming on the map sometimes resets to seeing the whole of Africa, so you need to zoom all the way in again.
