VW Delta radio - quadlock connector OEM to non OEM

Post by Howie-WP »

I have a old Delta radio in the Touareg. If I want to fit a non OEM double DIN, where can I find a connector to fit the OEM loom (would prefer not to cut anything) I have the radio pinouts, so would simply align new HU wires to old HU, via new connector block to existing loom. Any fitment centers in Cpt that one could purchase from?

I think rivonia car sound may have a connector for you. Not sure who in ct will have something like that.

Why not fit an oem rcd330g instead? I think it may fit

Will check, many of the normally sourced OEM HU's from other VW models don't seem to fit in the TReg. If all else fails, not wanting to break the bank with full Android unit. I just need to have something that can play mp3's The van is a 3rd car, so not gonna waste cash on a proper setup, so if I can get a cheap HU that does not look garish will fit it (at the same time not wanting to cut into exist loom)

You can purchase 7L0051445A from the VW. Its a Quadlock harness to ISO. just double check the pin layouts.
