There are a number of reasons why a car would hesitate to accelerate, it may have a weak fuel pump, dirty fuel injectors not able to provide as much fuel to the cylinder as is needed. Whereas Limp mode might be triggered by the car's computer, which receives signals from all the different components of the car. Problems which cause signals like this are usually faulty engine sensors/components/wiring, transmission issues, dysfunctional brakes and clutch, or even low fluid levels. Try checking those things i don't think you will come out empty handed. In case u fail diagnosing the fault there are some guys based in Randburg who can help you with some knowledge. They're actually not mechanics but sell parts. I used to have a lot of electrical issues with my Citi-Golf, one day i went there to buy a carburettor, after buying we had some chat and their knowledge they shared with me made me marvel them a lot.
