2007 citi golf 1.8i starting problem

Hi guys I am new to this forum but I need some help on my golf, my car would not start at times and if I leave the car around 5 minutes later it would start up.

Try checking the temp sender switch

4 pin coolent sensor also known as cold start sensor or as guys refer to it. its located on your head cylinder and has a yellow/ blue band around the sensor
