For once...a dyno day close to where I live...
might come through for a boerie roll or two
And depending which car I'm driving on the day, I might put it on the rollers to see how much less power than the Clio it makes. hahaha

Re: Dyno Day - 11 June 2006
I would preffer inertia runs.Life-GP wrote:It's BOTH!! What would we prefer?Rabbit16v wrote:Load or inertia dyno ?
As the airflow to the car is not the same as on the road - holding a turbo car on the rollers on high boost on a load setup - waiting for the power to stabelize - takes for ever, the oil and water temp shoots up and very easy to hurt the motor.
Plus - inertia runs are allot faster that load runs so you will be able to push through more cars than with the load setup .....

Sure you can.
Just remember to bring an extra R10 along for the oil leak insurance (Just kidding)

I think it's time to put a standard Polo TDI on the rollers and clear up standard versus REVO/Dimsport/FRC

Yes, they have a 4WD dyno as well. It will cost you R100 for that.Dex wrote:tell me....is there a 4wd dyno as well? i have a quattro Audi i want to test
i missed the Audi Club dyno so i had no chance to put me car on the dyno. R70 for non-members is not bad...
