It's taken us almost two years to work around the new legislation regarding public road closures, and regulations for racing on a public road, but it's done!!!

The Legendary Krugersdorp HillClimb returns!

Are you good enough or have the brass ones big enough to take on this piece of road that has claimed many a racer, and the odd plane over the years?

Well, come test your mettle on 9 September with the Volkswagen Club Of South Africa!

A huge thanks to Gerardo and Wikus for helping us make this one possible!

Location: Thomas Jackson Road, Sterkfontein
Time: 8:00am - 16:00pm
Cost: MEMBERS - R200 NON-MEMBERS R300
Requirements: Helmet; Long Sleeves; Closed Shoes; Long PANT!


Drivers briefing will be held at 9:00am. If you do not attend the drivers briefing, NO RACING.
We have a couple of food vendors attending, to ensure you can get some early morning coffees, or some late afternoon Steak Sandwiches from the Legendary Tasneems.

Ablutions available

We are catering for UP to 80 vehicles, so if you'd like to secure your spot, please get in touch with me to pre-pay your spot.
Registrations on the day ONLY.

The basic run down for the day:

Cars will be grouped in ten, and set off separately by a starting marshal. Times will be captured at the finish line by the committee.
Grouping for the day:

Four Wheel Drive Turbocharged
Front Wheel Drive Turbocharged
Rear Wheel Drive Turbocharged
Four Wheel Drive Normally Aspirated
Front Wheel Drive Normally Aspirated
Rear Wheel Drive Normally Aspirated

I'll definitely be there to spectate, i doubt my stock 1.6 vivo GT will be a speedy contender on the day lol. 🤣

What will the entrance fee be for spectators? Will we be able to get VWCSA stickers on the day too?

Road surface is pretty good. One or two apexes have minor potholes, but nothing has actually deteriorated since the last one the club hosted
