First run 56. Second and third runs 52.5. Which I don't think was too bad. You bud ?

Hehe never trust a ford.
I did a 51 but had to do all the turns in 2nd. Could'nt get 1st gear.will post a video from gopro in the week.

Every one was slower. The grass was extremely tall so you couldn't see very far. I think everyone was holding back a bit

Yup. Blind cornering ftl. Was terrified I'd find a pedestrian in the middle of the road. Very much holding back...

Me and Wikus are 1-1 so far. As soon as the green beast is done, I won't be coming close.

Hahaha . Their weren't that man golf though were where u all hiding . It serriously didn't look that hectic to do. Corners were nice and wide

Awesome Event ,Thanks to all the comm member that was involved in organizing the event.
First VW event that I participated, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. I was scared to take part as most of the club members have a perception that the Hillclimb is not for sissies. I got thrown in the deep by my SO, but it was worth it. He told me there is only one way to learn and it is the HARD way.

You`ll definitely see me again next year!

Maybe next year we employ a few guys with some trimmers and cut the grass? I got a friend with a gardening services co with enough guys and trimmers...
