Had a chat to him about this too. It's quite a mission. The sump pickup will need to be modified, and then he'll run less oil etc. I suggested he goes dry-sump, because with that car's acceleration and handling, you don't want to oil-starve the motor by running a thin sump and reducing oil volume.Scatman wrote:I asked him the same and he responded that it's not that low and that the lowest part is actually the sump - but he's looking at modifying the sump and pickup so that he has more clearance.GTiDon wrote:

wow looks like it was awesome guys, sorry I couldn't attend, I will try my level best to make the next one, looks and sounds like it is really worth it!!!!!
That Le Mans replica is very impressive but I must say that the wheels let it down, pity he isn't using something a bit more race-orientated

What an epic event! Thanks to all that attended
Much awesomeness in one place is simply unbelievable, First time I saw some of those classics in the metal and all I can say is wow!
E30 333i, M3 and M5! The miniture car club and all that American Muscle
I will sift through my photos soon and post them up.
Only thing I reckon they should do is get someone to sponsor more porta potty's and have some additional dustbins around.
