VW Polo 2010 Trendline- Female Driver

Hi all

I am new year. Just need some advise regarding my car that won’t start when its been parked in the sun 😢 Hoping this forum will have some answers!

Some extra info - does the engine turn over on the starter when you turn the key, on does the starter not turn?
Do the usual dashboard lights come on when you turn the key?
