Repair MIB (Unit in Glove Box) Golf 7.5

Post by PoloRolo »

Hi Members

Does anyone have experience in getting the MIB Unit in the Glove box repaired? Referrals for reputable OEM Radio Electronics repairers?

This unit has stopped working causing my head unit to no longer power on. The screen is not (physically) damaged so I believe this is still functioning as it is only an output/display device. Screen is the Infotainment Compostion Media - Full black glass.

(Yes, I have checked all fuses in the glove box)

Next option is to get an android unit.

Any advice?

Thanks

Update:
Ended up replacing with a TT Audio android unit. I could not find anyone reputable to repair the MIB unit. Getting a 2nd hand MIB unit - needed to be recoded to my factory info - also did not find anyone capable enough to do this.
