VWCSA 2021 AGM

Post by J0NN0 »

Hello everyone!   :hi:

We are now in the last quarter of 2021, and that means its time for us to meet up for the annual AGM.

Date: 5 December 2021
Event: VWCSA AGM
Venue: 86 Public Randburg, Malibongwe Drive, Clubhouse Shopping Centre, Ferndale, Randburg, 2194
Time: 13:00 - Meeting to start 13:30 sharp.

The following Comm members will not be standing for Comm in 2022:

DieterMK5 - Dieter (Current - Vice Chairman)

The following Comm members are up for Re-election if so nominated by you...

J0NN0 - Jonno (Current - Chairman / PRO)
MoeHS1 - Moe (Current - Membership Admin)
SoDub - Chris (Current - Graphics / Social media manager)
Heisenburg - Jason (Current - Assistant Web Admin)

Ageless_ZA - Richard (Forum Admin) in a consultant role
Neuk - Nic (Treasurer / Membership admin) in a consultant role

Due to the fact that out of all our VWCSA members, no nominations were made for 2022 committee, instead of the club getting new blood, some of the rusty, old, biltong ex Committee members have decided to come back to the committee to save the club from dissolving.

So we all know and maybe not love, but tolerate them  . Say hi to our 2022 committee nominations:

Scratch - Marcel
Sebz - Sebastian
G-spot - Grant
GaVeN - Gideon
smashedmink - Raymond
Jetta16v - Rion

The committee has decided to take a new approach to the running of the club and there will be a lot of changes to the constitution discussed at the meeting.

The AGM to open to all, but only paid up members may vote.

Hope to see you all there

Kota Joe Boksburg doesn't have any sitting available due to renovations. I am not sure if you are aware or not. According to them, renovations will be done in early 2022. Sharp

Thank you for this Themba.

We will change the Venue to a place that most might remember as the Randburg Dros where Blackout used to happen. It is now called '86 Public.
