We’re so excited to finally be able to Host another VW Club SA event! Its been so long and we don’t miss just the events, but we miss you too!
Some more info regarding this weekend’s racing:
Date and time: 30th August from 08:00 – 16:00. We will have a drivers’ briefing at 08:30and then begin promptly at 09:00.

The format of racing would be as follows:
• All vehicles will receive a timing transponder in exchange for your driver's license. You can collect your license once the racing has finished. Please be sure to give your transponder back as you will be billed for it should it not be returned.
• There will be a drivers briefing at 8:30
• There will be 4-5 vehicles on the track at a time, in groups of numbers from 1-5/20-25, etc.
• There will be 1 sighting lap, 3 hot laps, 1 cool-down lap.
• Racing will pause at 12:30 for lunch and resume at 13:00.

Our road to VKC this year will start at the Sasol garage in Meyersdal just off the R59, we will take a nice cruise to start a day of some epic driving

Start time: 07:00 to leave 07:15.
Please Note:
• Outside food and beverages ARE NOT permitted into the VKC premises, so please bring a little extra cash to take advantage of the restaurant on-site, card facilities are available.
• No spectators will be allowed to attend the event.
• Each registered driver is allowed 1 crew/mechanic to attend. HOWEVER, this cannot be your significant other/friend/family member who will hold a wrench for you. We will ask them to leave the premises to protect everyone at the event in case of an unannounced SAPS check-up.
• Social distancing will need to be adhered to at all times.
• Face masks will be required to be worn from all participants at all times except when wearing a helmet.
• NO sharing of helmets will be allowed.
• All drivers are to wear long pants, long sleeve shirts, and closed shoes.
• All cars will be scrutineered on the day, please have a quick look at your car for any issues that can be sorted out before the event.
