I need to towbar so I can get my bike around. Phoned around and the prices are crazy. Anything from R1700 upto R2900!
To those that have fitted, where would you say I must go?
Ill even buy a 2nd hand is you have one not being used....

When I had the Bosal done on my Polo 3 years ago it was R1700 at Motorsonic, and they were the cheapest.
You can get a Steelite tow bar for much less, but it doesn't have a plug and play harness so they have to cut wires.... I'd rather fork out for the Bosal which has the harness that fit's VW's wiring.
I been trying to get a tow bar for the Jetta, Bosal has no stock till April - and they want R3800 for the permanent one. VW will do their own one for R4200 I only need the thing for my bike rack......costs almost what my bike does.....

Maybe look at the roof rack route? Might be cheaper?
