AND so the year starts...lol

Post by Stompie »

hallo everyone...

so this morning on the way to work i was driving into the company basement parking, driving behind a corsa bakkie....and then

I saw that my right fog light is not on....
(lol wonder who thought something else happened... )
stopped at my parking, got out and the whole globe exploded....the whole fog light is full of globe glass....

any one know the price on these globes? and is it easy to replace the globe?

First remove the small screw in the right front vent cover. Then pull on the vent cover to remove it. You can remove the bulb holder from behind the fog light by turning it anti-clockwise.

I would guess about R120 for the globe.

If it exploded it means it got wet.

will go and get some globes and check everything...

can one remove the whole fog light in order to get the small broken pieces of glass out?

Yes. 3 torx screws and it is out. Did you have the car washed with a high pressure hose? That could get water in up the small vent...
