Even small things like tyres, the difference in price between 17's and 18's is quite big.

Holy crap, how did they quote you so much?!

My brand new GTI 6 as well as household insurance of R250k is R1160 a month with Alexander Forbes (underwritten by Santam). Outsurance was about R1400 so told them to GF.A.

I would love to know how they quote as well. They over charge like crazy, never insure with outsurance, those oaks rape you horribly

Polo GTI 1.4 TSI DSG® = R264,200.00
GTI Manual = R331,900.00
GTI DSG® = R346,400.00

Comparing a base polo gti to base g6 gti (ie. manual) gives you a difference of R67 700.
Not quite the 100k

(the difference between the dsg is R82 200 tho)
also dont forget to add the service plan to the polo which is std on the g6
so the difference is even less = R56 568

You won't pay that for a GTI anyway. After discount mine was R325k with sunroof and xenons. Added a maintenance plan and tint too taking it to R341k.
