Re: cosidering to buy polo classic 1.6
I have a 2001 Polo Classic and I have to say, it has been a wonderful car.
It is no robot to robot racer due to it's wieght but still a relatively fun car to drive.
Common things to look out for:
Coils - those 6N Polos tend to have coil problems.
Linkages - tends to go at some point.. most of the time just needs to be aligned again.
Can't really think of much more as I have not had any major problems with mine.
I have had it for over 5 years and just the basic wear and tear issues.
Now that the mileage is a bit high on mine, I see there are a few wear & tear items to take car of now.
What is the mileage of the one you saw?

Nice Cars, I have a playa, and i only broke down once, and im on 280000 km
Coil pack was the problem, just make sure u take good care of the cab, oil change every 15k km,
Just check the pedal cluster..they are known to have issues
