Hi All.
Which is an 'ok-ish' battery charger to get? The ones from AutoZone / Midas ok?
Thanks
Battery charger, which one?

Re: Battery charger, which one?
Get a ctek. Maintenance charger instead of just a charger.
You can leave it connected and it won't overcharge your battery.
I think optima is the other good one. Not cetrain on the name though.

Re: Battery charger, which one?
checked optimate site. the Optimate on their site is +/- 1.6k.
also checked some other forums, lot of guys recommend Optimate battery chargers.
The 'AutoZone' / 'Midas' chargers, are they inferior compared to Ctek / Optimate?
Leaning towards getting a Optimate 6

Yes, no real comparison actually.....vwpolovivo wrote:The 'AutoZone' / 'Midas' chargers, are they inferior compared to Ctek / Optimate?
I bought mine direct from TecMate, don't think they advertise direct sales. I phoned and collected in Pinelands (cheaper than resellers)
