Im running Stage 2 with no Tip or Diverter valve (Map not aggressive) but after 4000rpm or so in third guy, power seems way lower, would adding a Dv help with this?

Get your self a boost gauge, then you can see what happens. It will point to you if you have a boost leak or tapering off too quick.

Might be a boost leak, dv not holding pressure or wastegate spring that has become too weak and opening up with high boost.

The forge DV is awesome and will last for years and years! The stock one is prone to failure or leaks.

but you need to check if that is the actual issue or not, might be, might not.

Could be that its not holding boost or being able to stay closed under boost as its got a weak spring.

honestly at the moment i have no idea. i really havent time to go to CPI in months for anything. i'm in the process of getting a boost gauge fitted...then i'll check that and compare with what CPI has on my car....any numbers i say now will just be me grabbing numbers....i could quote from Torque Pro, but no idea on the accuracy. it gave me 1.3bar many many moons ago...could be changing software also in the year so who knows...

When I had FRC on my car same setup as current apart from the wmi, throttle pipe and proper forge tip I was boosting the same 1.3/1.4bar. Although I do agree its not the only way its the easiest way to increase power but still operate within safe boundries for constant use.

very easy to check, ask your tuner to take logs and make a print out, you can see all the boost at different stages on the logs. Your ECU will change boost and timing if some condition is not perfect, age of turbo can cause lower boost, boost leaks, its not easy to diagnose a problem for not fiscally seeing the carvery easy to check, ask your tuner to take logs and make a print out, you can see all the boost at different stages on the logs. Torque controlled ECUs , load is the key function - Boost is one of the factors that createlod but not the only factor.

The ecu has a whole toybox of goodies it can use to create load - You need to know which ones to change to get HP and Nm

After a certain point , boost is only hot air
