pretty much straight fit. Just add to you budget a service kit, crank seals, cambelt and tesioner and dizzy. I have my doubts about the flywheel fitting. so might need a 210mm flywheel and clutch kit.
You can transfer all your mp9 across. manifold, Fi bits etc and run you mp9 with a 2.0 map.
Also transfer your pulley setup across also.

Ask for a 1.8 210mm flywheel and clutch kit. You should be able to use your 1.4i dizzy.

Re: 1.4i to 2.0 conversion - is it that simple?
If you are using the 2E intake manifold, you can just splice the 2E injector wiring onto the MP9 harness, other option is to use the existing MP9 intake manifold and injectors, everything will be plug and play. The last option is the better one because it will allow you to use the throttle body, MAP sensor and injectors on the existing harness.Nass wrote:Hey guys. Quick question..

Thank you for the response...
In addition.. does the 1.4 intake manifold and injectors adapt to the 2E cylinder head with no adapter plates?

Yes it's a straight fit, you can swap over the existing pulleys and alternator as well if you want to keep you engine bay 'stock' looking.Nass wrote:Thank you for the response...

Re: 1.4i to 2.0 conversion - is it that simple?
Yes. The bolt holes line up and it will fit, the diameter of the runner is smaller than the port size. but it doesnt matter really, I just bolted it on as is. The gasket is also the same for both the 1.4i and 2.0i heads.

1.4 injector is 6pin...and the 2.0 is a 2pin.. can the wiring harness of the 1.4 be used. If so, how?

Re: 1.4i to 2.0 conversion - is it that simple?
no. Mp 9 cannot run the stuff on that engine. it has 60-2 triggers - wasted spark and drive by wire throttle. None of which MP9 can control.
