Post by Oshy » Mon Apr 16, 2018 4:16 pm

recently did a radiator change on my citi 1.4 and put in the recommended G12 coolant but now the heat gauge isnt reaching the halfway point at all the most it goes to is a quarter , and right down on freeway driving .

could it be thermostat stuck open ??

Did you fit the same type and size radiator?

What is the condition if the temperature sensor? Boil some water and put the sensor in the hot water with wiring still attached and check reading on gauge.

When sympthoms are as described above, is the radiator fan kicking in or any water boiling in water bottle.

Temp sensor with 4 pin plug sits on the housing between no 3 and 4 sparkplugs.
