Think you understood wrong my cooler is not full of oil as my car gets serviced regularly. I meant just i dont like oil in my pipes im a neat guy like things clean.

catch can will make no difference there

Well in the end it works for me bud and the topic was to help other guys that wane do it or not. Keeps my pipes clean so im.happy and my cooler.

Youtube has a video of a Canadian mechanic who regularly services a high-mileage Jetta 4 TDI. He has inserted a small screw into the lowest point of the intercooler, and he drains the cooler routinely when he does oil changes.
