Where to service my TDI

Good day people

If anyone has some recommendations I would appreciate it.

I'm looking for a reliable and preferably affordable service centre for my VW Polo 1.9 TDI in and around the Centurion / Midrand area.

I need to service my car next month. There is also some other mechanical maintenance that will have to be done - misfiring while idling, something to do with the injectors.

So far I have recommendations for:

Steve's Auto Clinic (Somewhere around Kyalami)

Bosch (I've heard that they are very expensive and not necessarily very good)

Carnetics, whom I trust and have used many times in the past, but they specialise more in petrol cars and they said they would rather not do the required maintenance on my vehicle.

Do not go to Bosch! Many horror stories have come out of Bosch service centres.

Unfortunately I don't know anyone in the Centurion/Midrand area. Hopefully someone else will be more helpful.

If you willing to travel to the North of Joburg then give Morne (Forum name is G60 Golf) a call. He might be able to help you out, and has a good reputation on this forum.

Take it to Frans, I have used him on many ocassions and his work is top notch. Most of my VW's were looked after by him at Hatfield bryanston over the years and he has worked on my TT numerous times
