Are these the adapters for various HP cleaner models? I see eBay is full of them. I'd really like a CD foam cannon, but I have a Bosch/Aquatek unit.....Djin wrote:We have the new fittings on order so we expect delivery in a couple of weeks.lawrence wrote:Pravin, when will these new fittings be arriving and tested?

Re: Crazy Detailer Foam Cannon V2 + Karcher HP washer - URGE
Just wanted to give a little update.
So I eventually pulled the trigger on the Karcher K7 and am glad I did.... really nice machine.
Anyway, I had the Crazy Detailer V2 cannon, which is rated for only 120bar and so couldn't use it..... that was until I picked up one of these adapters. http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.ph ... ts_id=1055
It arrived last night and when I got home I quickly fitted it to test it out. Fitment is literally a matter of unscrewing the existing plastic fitting, removing the plastic protective caps from the threaded metal bar supplied in the kit.... winding some thread tape around it, and screwing it into the cannon. Then thread tape on the other side and screw on the new Karcher fitting (which has a metal threaded inner unlike the original plastic one). The new fitting is therefore obviously much stronger but also has a larger inner diameter, allowing a better flow through the cannon at higher pressure.
And it all works hundreds.... I couldn't snap any pics cos it was dark already (neighbors must have has a real laugh at me again jolling outside with the pressure washer and cannon in the dark ) but will try remember to snap some during this weekend's detail.
So any of you looking to increase the pressure rating on your cannon when used with a Karcher pressure washer > 120bar, this little conversion kit is money well spent!

Re: Crazy Detailer Foam Cannon V2 + Karcher HP washer - URGE
Just got mine (Cannon) and sample Bosch adapter yesterday from CD. Adapter works perfectly, like OEM. Did a quick foam wash of my Mk3 this morning, works amazingly well. Dunno how I did not manage without all these cool things from CD and similar.
