Re: Detailers in Cape Town?
I have heard Vince West's name being dropped, but I have no personal 'experience' of the guys work.
There is also a dude who frequents carforums (minimike) who details out of Cpt. His work (from what I have seen on CFBB) seems to be ok.
What exactly are you wanting done to the car?
Maybe DIY is a viable option?

Re: Detailers in Cape Town?
Lawrence,
thanks for the reply. I probably have all the kit (from the recent Dubrun ) but unfortunately don't have the time. I would like interior/exterior/engine/engine bay done of the GTS. Pretty much the same as what you did on the red GTS.

Re: Detailers in Cape Town?
Robbie, you know my thoughts with working on old single stage paint like this that is valuable to the owner - you will have to find someone who cares about your car as much as you do.Fox It - WP wrote:Lawrence,

By this I mean someone who would rather use a rinseless wash than using water, for fear of leaving water trapped in nooks and crannies that will accelerate the onset of rust. Someone who is prepared to gorge the paint with Meguiars #7 BEFORE attempting any polishing to restore its 'suppleness'. Someone who sees the old girl for what she is - a lady to be lovingly cared for.... not some young ho to be be bent over and hammerf**ked.
I wish I could recommend someone down there who would fit those criteria, but I just don't know anyone
