Have you replaced the two fuses next to the battery along with the earth cable/strap? Many issues can be solved on the citi by upgrading the earth. Trust me on this.

Re: Citi storm 1.4i jerking and revcounter jumping up and down
Sorry for hijacking the thread guys. @Mr blue balls, you get the issue sorted eventually?
I'm sitting with the exact same problem on jetta 3 2.0mp9 setup.
Car jerks when hot and rev counter does funny things. Replaced coil, throttle body, water temp sensor,..... Even plugged into vag but no error codes besides throttle body that was replaced as I said. So no codes.
The car bucks/jerks particularly bad on a hot day when it's at operating temperature, but in the mornings until it's warmed up it runs 110%. I know the issue is electrical due to the rev counter being jumpy but I'm tire did guessing now, anyone delt with such an issue and solved it?

No tp100, mp9 uses 3 pin coil. We checked with a different coil while it was hot and did that, but still it continued with its ****. We don't know what the hell is wrong here, even checked the harness!

Re: Citi storm 1.4i jerking and revcounter jumping up and down
Someone mentioned on another thread that it could be the map sensor. Doesn't make sense to me because the rev counter moves up and down when stopping then when I drive off its normal but will jerk/buck lower down at 2000-3000rpm. Seems to be fine if it's steady in 5th gear speed. Rev counter moving up and down tells me it is electrical, and I had dizzy issue before, usually causes misfire too, this car ain't misfiring at all. So I don't know, not throwing any codes either. Also, when the car is cold, it does everything 110% no jerking/bucking etc, but as soon as my heat gauge gets to the middle its starts its ****. Something is being affected when it heats up.
