RCD 330G / MIB retrofit for Golf Mk6

Post by Jameswcbro »

Hi all
Recently bought myself a MK6 and discovered that the eject button doesn't work on the standard RCD310. There is a supplier called OEM car radios in Roodepoort who says he can offer me a RCD330 from the new Polo. Has anyone fitted this unit before and be able to shed some light as to whether this unit will integrate properly?

Thanks

Why not source an RNS 510 or at least an RCD 510. If you search around the scrapyards and the likes you will find one.

The new gen units have a component protection system that is problematic to overcome. Don't know if that applies to the rcd330, but I would guess it would also have it. RNS510 AND RCD510 just have a code to unlock.
