Stay away from that dv spacer rubbish. Get an intake done and some software. Have a look at some of the tuners. Most of them do offer a package with a downpipe and software for a decent price.riyaadhm786 wrote:Hi guys I have e a golf 5 gti . Any suggestions on who does a good downpipe at a good price ? You will get that noise from an intake but it won't be as loud as you expect unless you have software.riyaadhm786 wrote:Will I get that sound from an induction ? Also around what should I be paying for downpipe?
Downpipes you can expect to pay anything from 1800 upwards. You may also come across second hand ones for a little cheaper.

Maybe have look at the advertisers section. Plenty places to have a look at. Also keep an eye out on the for sale section.

#1...Get yourself a brand new DP,..lot of well know places around that can fit DP! like guys say check section of TUNERS!..once you fit DP you will notice new found love for the G5.riyaadhm786 wrote:Hi guys I have e a golf 5 gti . #2,..forget SPACER . It is a cheap sound and does not sound like a proper BOV sound. Total waste money.
Just get INTAKE (we all want woooosssssshhhh sound wen we buyTURBO) but not recommended on G5...you will understand as time goes by.
Spend more money on a INTSKE, worth the MOD not only to gain extra PONY'S but also +DP and you have a lekke sound very lekke (choo choo sound) .
WELCOME to TFSi Sound
( So NO advise on where to get SPACER)
Fit DP,..Then Intake,..once happy do SW....the rest is
CW MKV GTi - Kontrol Freaks CAI - Xcede DP + Exhaust - DogBone Insert - 30mm Lowered - R8 Coils - RevH DV - 20" AMG Wheels - R32 Bumper & Mudflaps
