9n Polo, sound newbie, speaker upgrade

Post by UzziB »

Howsit gents

After fitting a 10' sub to my Polo 4door hatch, im looking for more clarity and depth in my speakers. What size and brands should I purchase? I already have a 4channel amp for my sub, is it possible to wire the speakers onto it as I dont want another amp, space, or wire the new speakers to the hu. Would it be better to upgraded the old jvc mp3 unit to a new one and use the stock speakers?

Just get a split system that matches your Amp well and you sorted bud. what you will do is bridge two channels to run your Sub and the other two will drive your splits up front. Trust me you wont go wrong doing this. Look on the lines of RA,Focal,Herts,Alpine,JBL Etc for quality stuff

Thats correct, the split systems comes with a cross over as well so its easy to install in saying no need to work out ohms and stuff its just plug and play. but make sure you double check the ohms and match the splits correctly to the amp. post the amp specs and ill help you match a reasonable split system. also whats your budget?

You asking the same question that I already answered again. But anyway let me give you some idea since you don't understand what relative is

Expensive is R20k and above

Cheap is anything below R5k
