Pioneer DD help please
Hi guys.
A quick one.
I've got a Pioneer Double Din (avh-P3350bBT)
I had the DD in my 6n, connected myself and all was fine, I could watch DVD's etc etc etc.
Now, I connected it in my 9n TDI, but when tryi to play DVD's it gives me this error:
Radio does not work with ignition.
That message comes up even if car is off an standing still.

Re: Pioneer DD help please
There should be a wire marked handbrake. That wire should be connected to either ground or positive, I can't remember now which one.

Re: Pioneer DD help please
If you look online there is a video about using a relay from any auto shop to stop the handbrake problem , did it on a G5 that we did, works perfectly

Re: Pioneer DD help please
You dont need a relay, just connect it directly to ground/power (I really can't remember which one though)Kavi4GP wrote:If you look online there is a video about using a relay from any auto shop to stop the handbrake problem , did it on a G5 that we did, works perfectly

Finally got around to sorting the DD out, Deck is able to play DVD's now.
P.S, on my Pioneer DD, it's a light green cable bridged to the Ground cable.
