Hi all im looking to replace my oem speakers in my mk5 gti with an high end speaker system, but the new speakers must fit in the oem housing.
Any advice on brand and place to buy them, fitment will be done by myself.

The Focals are nice for sure and the Access has been discontinued so you can get them for a good price now. But I cant recall them having a direct replacement 3 way for the MK5.
Imo there is not too much that you can get for 4k for the front alone that would be worth the upgrade.
You could get a nice 2 way for the fronts but they may sound a bit strange because of the midbass location.
The hertz HSK 163 3ways would bolt up without too much hassel but that would be out of budget.
