My clutch is almost out so I'm trying to get a new one ready but I'm struggling to get it from goldwagen. So I want to know if I have any option , as I was reading I saw someone talking about VR6 clutch as an option that one can go for. I bought the car with 39k km and I've never make it to 200km/h some technician from VW told me that is because of the clutch so hoping after the replacement I will be able to do 220km/h. An I was told that my car is using dual flywheel clutch, so will the single flywheel work for my car?
Thanks in advance

If u want to go that fast, why buy a 1.2?

Unless the clutch is slipping badly, even the best clutch ever made will not allow the car to go beyond the factory speed limiter

This car is a 55kw 3 cylinder that was made for economy not performance. 200 kmph is probably possible with some mods such as a dpf delete and a software remap to start of with, and a long wait from 0-200.

Just because the cluster shows u 240kmph doesnt mean the car can reach that speed in its std form. Especially a car that was not made for performance.

Once you have your clutch fixed, please do a video of your top speed run with details of time and place so it can be verified. We don't want VW fooling us consumers with false speed ratings on their clusters

Go do your 220kmh in your 1.2 TDI and post video proof.
And put a GPS next to the speedo showing what the actual true speed was that you did.

Car Magazine tested it and true top speed topped out at 175kmh or something like that. Good luck with your 220......

There..... tested top speed (actual true speed, not some over-reading speedo speed) of 173kmh.
