Re: GFB Deceptor ProII blow off valve (Motorised)
Initial setup is annoying because there is no guideline with the splitter, and you'll find 10 different settings online where it should be... So I see the benefit of having something inside the car where you don't have to stop the car and pop the hood to adjust it..Stompie wrote:and you adjust your DV how many times at the moment each day?Kyle wrote:Doesn't do the same as a splitter because electronic adjustment
Also GFB stuff is proper

All im saying is,Kyle wrote:Initial setup is annoying because there is no guideline with the splitter, and you'll find 10 different settings online where it should be... you should only adjust your DV once and it should be sharp. So you going to pay R4.5k to save you one afternoon of setting the splitterR and then never touch that electronic knob again.
Forge is mechanical piston, too much that can go wrong with electronic stuff and cause issues.
@Rich - the 710N uprated dv is good for 3 bar boost as tested by the apr guys overseas.

Gents,
This is not about which product is better. I sell both Forge and GFB and both products are fantastic. I posted up this product to showcase something new. Please lets keep the negatives out of here shall we?

Re: GFB Deceptor ProII blow off valve (Motorised)
Oh and i'll be editing the price... Im working on GFB retail pricing which is a tad bit high. The unit should be around R3900...The Forge SpltR is now retailing close on R2700.

Re: GFB Deceptor ProII blow off valve (Motorised)
Positive debate is what helps a person choose the right product for themselves. I don't see negatives here apart from me talking about price? Correct me if I'm wrong please...Rabbit222 wrote:Gents,

Re: GFB Deceptor ProII blow off valve (Motorised)
The thread is about a new product and not about which is better between GFB and Forge. If it was meant to be debated, the thread would have had a topic like this:
"GFB Deceptor Pro or Forge Spltr, which is better?"
Hope that makes sense Richard...if not we can continue this debate on FB messenger.
