Venue: Eagle Waters Resort, Oberon Street, Hartbeespoort
Time: 7am - 4pm
Cost: The prices for all forum and club members are as follows (up to 30 people):

12 year old - Adult –R85 (Normally R100 or R120 at the gate)
Under 12 - R45 (Normally R50)
Under 3 - No charge

Was epic...

Okay IMO, if you ever want to go in to campfest in the future, know this, You WILL wait in a long queue to go in, You WILL hear guys revving their cars. So if you hate either, don't go, never going to change.

So Comm stayed over, we got a chalet, it's was awesome, facility was awesome.

The toilet facilities were good, no soap, but at least a basin to wash your hands, way better than last year, so people complaining clearly never went to campfest last year.

There were no dirt roads which was great. Speed bumps were pretty high but else good.

With regards to complaints to camping, I don't know how you please someone camping? you want thick lush grass to pitch a tent on?

Anyways guys will find anything to complain about, I hate how dirty the dam was, the sun was evil, the guys running the queue to show and shine was a bunch of pricks (yes you Chris Potgieter )

I think campfest this year was the best one I had been to.

Campfest came a long way since the first event we attended as VCWSA
There will always be complaints about camping/judging can't please everyone and everyone can't be a winner

I saw a few comments on FB this morning about the points men...


Cum Laude asked the comm to help with the show n shine area and entrance to it...


A comm member was knocked over by a bus...

A comm member was threatened with a fire arm

We were sworn at...

Having been a to few now, I think this years event was by far better than the ones before.

The club had a great shady stand, we had a great presence at the show.

Will we do it again. Absolutely. It's a passion for VWs spoiled by a few mouthy people wanting to be heard for their 5min of Internet fame.
